CANCER AND HPV
There are over one hundred viral subtypes that differ in their DNA. Some of these subtypes like HPV 16 are associated with precancerous and cancerous lesions in different parts of the body. Other viral types that have been associated with cancerous lesions are HPV 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 68 and others. HPV has been attributed as the cause of Cervical Cancer. |

HPV TREATMENTS
The fundamental reasons for HPV treatment are:
|
DIAGNOSIS OF HPV
HPV MEDICAL CENTER and HPV MEDICAL GROUP HPV MEDICAL GROUP has been created to prevent, to diagnose and treat HPV before it develops into cancer. For this purpose, we use DNA detection techniques (PCR and hybrid-capture) which allow us to make a diagnosis of the virus in its early stages of infection, also called “latent stage”. At the same time, these techniques let us know if the virus is benign or related to cancer being able to establish the risk of the infection. |

HPV VACCINE
Currently two vaccines are available. The first GARDASIL, prevents against HPV viruses (subtypes16 and 18) responsible for 50% and 20% of Cervical Cancer respectively, as clinical trials made refer, and genital warts produced by this types of HPV (16 and 18). It also protects against HPV viruses (subtypes 6 and 11) responsible for 90% of genital warts that are not related to cancer. Supposed protection against HPV 16, 18, 6 and 11 in others organs. |
HPV DIAGNOSE STUDIES
Pap smear This technique is used to detect abnormal cell changes in the cervix, we can make diagnosis of low-grade SIL (is the equivalent of mild cervical dysplasia or CIN 1), high-grade SIL (is the equivalent to a moderate or severe dysplasia of the cervix or CIN 2 and CIN 3, respectively), of invasive cervical cancer or different causes of cervix inflammation. |

WHAT IS HPV
Human Papilloma Virus or HPV is a DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) virus. HPV virus carries genetic information. Molecular biology techniques deciphered the genetic code of most HPV virus and its relation with aggressiveness and human body locations of the infections. |
HPV in MEN
HPV MEDICAL CENTER and HPV MEDICAL GROUP has been created with the objective of prevent, diagnose and treat HPV before it develops into cancer. Most of our members have been trained in our country and abroad and were awarded for their research projects and medical journals in International Medical Congresses. One of our departments in our center is oriented to research in Clinical Pharmacology, working for the pharmaceutical industry with national and international laboratories, contributing to the development of new drugs. Part of our team has worked in the production of pharmaceutical drugs since the 60’s as well as in the development of new diagnostic techniques currently applied becoming pioneers in some areas of medicine. As a result of our work, we have successfully treated thousands of patients to date. We are continuously pushing ourselves to find new cures for diseases taking them as a challenge. |
